1450-Org Rules and Regulations

Safety and Race Promoter’s info:

1450-ORG rules do not in any way replace or modify the competition and safety regulations of the race organizer, promoter or sanctioning body. If a 1450-ORG rule directly opposes or interferes with the race promoters rules, the promoters rules will override 1450-ORG at all times. 1450-ORG is NOT responsible for the safety, mechanical condition, or eligibility of your race vehicle.

“Tech” inspections and starting order:

Starting order will be decided upon by the race promoter and not 1450-ORG. The approval of safety equipment and “tech” inspections are not the responsibility of 1450-ORG. The vehicle owners, drivers, passengers and pit crew assume all risks and liabilities which may arise from the use of their vehicle. 1450-ORG assumes no responsibility for you or your vehicle at any time.

Points and Protests:

Points will be determined using MDR’s standard points table. Any race results provided by the sanctioning body will be considered final. The results provided by the promoter will be what are used to calculate points for the 1450-ORG championship series. These points will be calculated and provided by 1450-ORG.

Any protests regarding problems amongst competitors or the sanctioning body must be submitted to 1450-ORG and NOT the sanctioning body the day of the race. We will not accept protests at any other time. Issues with points may be submitted at any time and will be reviewed by the 1450-ORG board of directors.

General rules:

1. 1450-ORG will use the standard rules set by the race promoter with a few of our own. Generally this means you or your race vehicle must:

2. Register with 1450-ORG prior to each race. We will have a highly visible booth located near “tech/contingency” at each race.

3. Meet all safety and tech requirements set by race promoter.

4. Have a Steel cab and working doors.

5. Sponsor stickers provided by 1450-ORG must be displayed on the doors of the race vehicle at all times during the race(s).
One set of stickers will be provided per member, per season with each membership fee. Extras can be obtained from 1450-ORG. A nominal fee may apply.

6. We (1450-ORG) will separate our series into two classes, 1450-Sportsman and 1400-Pro. Whichever class you choose to enter with the race promoter is where your points will go in the 1450-ORG series. (i.e. if you enter 1400 with MDR your points for that race will be counted as 1400 points with 1450-ORG)

7. You must enter AND start at least three races in the four race series in the same class to be eligible for the championship. This is to deter “sandbaggers” from entering in an inappropriate class.

8. We (1450-ORG) reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership to anyone at any time for any infraction of the 1450-ORG Rules, Regulations, or Code of Ethics.

9. Infractions or non-compliance of the 1450-ORG regulations, rules, or Code of Ethics may result in a warning or punishment at the discretion of the 1450-ORG representative at the event. A minor punishment may include loss of points, loss of one or more finish positions, and or loss of any prize and contingency monies. A major punishment may include disqualification from the event, from a number of subsequent events, and/or a total ban from all future 1450-ORG events. The decision of the 1450-ORG representative at the event will be final.

10.In order to be eligible for 1450-ORG contingencies, the 1450-ORG race vehicle must run a class 1400/1450 number and start the race with their respective 1400/1450 class competitors.
